The Jewel of the Month for March 2010 is Diane's beautiful home in Louisiana.
Diane was born and raised in Texas believing she would never be anything but a Texas girl, but after now living half her life in Louisiana, She is definitely a Louisiana-Texas woman!
Her heart throbs over anything vintage romantic and loves blending country Victorian with shabby chic, time-worn elegance.
Her dream house from the outside is an old country Victorian with a wrap around porch and though the home she has have lived in for the past 17 years has a slightly more contemporary look, they are in a beautiful country setting and once she steps through the doors she feels like I have stepped back into another era.
Her wonderful husband of 27 years shares the same feeling that home is their haven.
Diane believes an empty room begins much like a blank artist’s canvas.....

As it continually evolves you know the picture is transforming exactly as you dreamed it would when you walk in and are completely taken over with “this is home and I don‘t want to be anywhere else!”
One of her most favorite things to do- as well as sources of inspiration- is reading and perusing through all her old magazines and books.
They are full of often visited old friends who love country Victorian time-worn elegance as much as she does!
