The Jewel of the month for January 2010 is a really special feature because its my Aunt Darlenes beautiful home In Costa Mesa California.
Its Part 2 of her home with more pictures to come!
I have loads of pictures of Dars house so it will take several months to see all her home.
The first rooms are of her Bedroom, Den and hallway.
Her home is not the typical pink shabby look but notice the beautiful way she displays and layers her items, she has a knack of putting colors and fabrics together that I would never do but it looks marvelous. I always learn from her and im sure you will too.

Aunt Dar along with my mother has influenced greatly my decorating style and love for vintage.
We were always going to antique stores, flea markets and garage sales looking for wonderful treasures to bring a new life to.
We were always decorating each others houses and still to this day though we live 3000 miles away when we visit we are always helping each other and getting and giving ideas.

The jewel of the month for August is Kristina's charming cottage in San Clemente California,
She loved the look of whites, soft pinks, greens and blues and decided that look had to be in her home!
For her the more fufu the better!
She does keep it somewhat tame though due to the size of her home and
the fact that her husband lives there too!

The Jewel of the month for June/July is a little different and I think a nice change of pace.
It's the beautiful patio and garden of one of our past jewels of the month Annmarie.
Her home was one of our favorites and her gorgeous romantic garden will be also.

This months jewel of the month is a friend of mine and fellow Jersey Girl!
Her Name is Trish and when you see her home you will think you have died and gone to fru fru heaven.
Trish had such a love for glamour, beauty and luxurious things that it inspired her to go to FIT in NYC where she minored in interior design and graduated with a degree in fashion design.
Trish designed her own line of fashions as well as free lancing for designers... Natoli, Oleg Cassini, Christian Dior and many others.
She specialized in designing women's lingerie and designed for Victoria Secrets where
her love of Lace, charmuse, pearls and ruffles was used to the full!
Trish didn't leave the embellishments she worked with strictly on her lingerie designs,
Working with all these beautiful elements inspired her and helped her develop the look she has in her home.
Trish describes her style as Romantic, glamorous, eclectic shabby chic,
She has been into this look before anyone could put a name to it.
Her husband and son are good sports about all the pink and fruff and are very proud of her accomplishments.
