Shadow box vows
Exquisite Shadow~box “WEDDING~CAKE” Vintage Frame! The frame is beautiful in and of itself. Measures 18”x13”, a bit on the heavier side, due to the intricate woodwork here. The frame is rectangular giving way to the RAISED oval with ornate gesso perfectly intact! Painted Rosey PINK and brushed pearlescent white over the raised work, looks yummy enough to eat! The lovely image of a deco Bride has been placed on PETAL PINK SILK BROCADE vintage damask, and then artist d. ford has proceeded to embellish her with VINTAGE LACE and SILK tulle (not polyester). Needle lace has been fashioned into the wedding dress bodice where a pretty corsage of hand~dyed and hand turned velvet roses, accompanied with vintage millinery, and fleurettes! Her veil is dotted with little passementarie forget~me~nots treated with little aurora borealis crystals that dance and sparkle round her perfectly painted face…she is lovely indeed. The string of Swarovski crystals were strung just for her, to coordinate with her vintage crystal earring slightly shadowed neath the veil. Note the length of ab sequined trim on her veil, for this was salvaged from an ACTUAL VINTAGE WEDDING VEIL where the tulle was so old that it disintegrated while being cut away! A beautiful and sweet piece of dimensional art by ms. Ford, perfect for the new bride, or a little something frivolous for oneself…whatever the occasion you will not be disappointed. NO TWO EVER ALIKE…..
