          
Nothing is sweeter than a PINK CAKE except perhaps the little DAMSEL getting
ready to lick the icing! Isn't she just ADORABLE! Done in TRUE VICTORIAN
STYLE! This little one is Be~Ribboned, and Be~jeweled, and Mum has dressed
her in a precious pale pink MOIRE TAFFETA party dress trimmed with VINTAGE
LACE and PINK and BLEU Fleurettes all handmade with love by artist debi jo
ford. It's true no detail too small the little skirts of the dress were
made on the old sewing machine to fit our wee one, then embellished with the
handmade fleurs! Nothing is too much for this occasion, turing 5 happens
but ONCE! Her little kid leather boots have been treated with little
gatherings of OLD VINTAGE lace giving them dimension and charm! Her ropes
of VINTAGE PEARLS indeed come from an old necklace, while her coiffeure of
silk dolls hair is brimming with roses, velvet VINTAGE FORGET ME NOTS, and
more handmade posies! Sitting close to the enormous PINK CAKE placed on a
PRISTINE whitle VINTAGE EYELETTE tablecloth, she has her finger ready for a
sweet taste of mummys frosting. The cake a precious affaire made by ms.
Ford has been sprinkled with tiny gold dragees and roses, topped with 5
candles aglow with rhinestones to depict their flames!
The frame itself is an OLD CONVEX FRAME given a fresh coat of cottage white
paint then treated with a garland appliqué (inspired from an old frame that
belongs to Ms. Ford with the same style of treatment) and although this
appliqué is not original to this piece it is perfectly fitting and just as
sweet as it can possibly be! A little BOW appliqué finishes off the bottom
inside edge of the frame, so charming, and pefect for ANY OCCASION! What a
sweet gift for anyone, even if a little frivolity for oneself! Ready for
display, and equipped with a sturdy wire hanger! You won't want to miss
