   
A Victorian Vision in riche colour, texture . LAYERS OF PINK VELVET,
Brocade, ancient METALLIC LACE, and firey PINK GEMS! BEAUTIFULLY framed in
an OLDE SIROCCO Frame painted from the garish gold it once was to a soft
white setting off the DRAMATIC PINKS in this piece! The beautiful Victorian
Faerie is laden with SILK VELVET, layered onto some of the most luscious
brocade I have ever had the privilege to own, she is preciously Re~touched
using my pigment riche pencils and looks lovely. A huge Czech GLASS button
is situated along her cheekbone and the colours of this piece are a mixture
of ORCHID, Chartreuse, Hot fuschia,, orchre and metallic gold! Her
shoulders are graced with some metal lace I have never wanted to cut into
until creating her! For it is so old it has a bit of a tarnish to it....you
won't find trims of this caliber these days! It still has it's structural
integrity, and looks beautiful with the PINK Pallette! Her jewels ALL
shades of PINK are chunky and rare also! The result is smashing, she is a
wonderfully ROMANTIC VICTORIAN Faerie...Cordelia, lovingly named after my
favourite late Aunt, and she would have LOVED this for she was also an
artist! And she LOVED PINK!
Measures 22"x14", and is ready for display ! Wonderful for gift giving even if a gift for oneself! As always she is one of a kind!
