Using the OLD VICTORIAN method of hand sewing this is NOT GLUED together, it is most definitely HAND SEWN as are all of her shades! The ground is OLD RIBBON LACE salvaged from an old frock! Treated then with a darling TUSSIE MUSSIE of VELVET BLOSSOMS! Beautiful HAND DYED AND HAND TURNED fleurettes and a giant tea~rose grace the front accompanied by little plump pale pink VELVET CABBAGE ROSES, where ombre velvet leaves from PINK to GREEN set them off beautifully, and little ribbonette dangles here and there giving the feeling of movement and romance! Trimmed with pink curly trim and metallic along the edge it is just darling. The beads are GLASS and ACRYLIC and have a scalloped edge and are 5 inches long at the longest point!
